Position: Senior Electrical Engineer Location: Tucson, AZ (on-site) Project Duration: 12 months w/ possibility of extension or conversion Rate: Negotiable Based on Experience Security Clearance: Active Secret Clearance Position Overview Our client is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join the Test Equipment Engineering (TEE) organization in Tucson, AZ. This role offers the opportunity to work in hands-on, multidisciplinary teams to design and develop advanced test systems for products. You'll contribute to all phases of the test product lifecycle, from concept through deployment, supporting both engineering labs and production environments. What You Will Do Design, develop, and integrate test systems for Raytheon products within multidisciplinary engineering teams. Create engineering and production test systems, including interface adapters, cabling, schematics, and circuit designs. Perform power, RF chain, and error budget analysis. Manage technical, cost, and schedule aspects of assigned projects. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to test product development and implementation. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) and 5+ years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with 3+ years of experience. U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance. Experience in electrical engineering design, troubleshooting, and analysis. Proficiency with design and analysis tools such as Altium, DX Designer, Mentor Capital, and Creo Schematic. Familiarity with test equipment including oscilloscopes, DMMs, network analyzers, and power meters. Ability to interpret and work with schematic capture tools. Preferred Qualifications Master's degree in STEM (ABET accreditation preferred). Experience in analog, digital, and RF design. Technical leadership in multidisciplinary teams. Experience with digital/mixed signal system integration and interconnect design. Familiarity with integrated development environments and debugging tools. Strong project management and proposal development skills. Proficient in technical writing and formal presentations. Knowledge of computer architecture and hardware optimization. Experience with programming languages and troubleshooting techniques. Familiarity with RTX programs and systems.
