Job specification
Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients in the ICU, including monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and performing procedures as needed. Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized patient care plans. Utilize advanced monitoring equipment and technologies to assess patient conditions and respond to changes promptly. Educate patients and their families about their conditions, treatment plans, and necessary follow-up care. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring compliance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements. Candidate requirements
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred; Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) with significant ICU experience may be considered. Minimum of 2-3 years of recent experience in an ICU setting. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification is required; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is also required. Strong critical thinking skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations.
