Candidate requirements
Job specification
Serve as the primary circulator for surgical procedures, ensuring that all aspects of the surgery are coordinated effectively. Collaborate with the surgical team to maintain a sterile environment and uphold surgical protocols and safety measures. Assess patient's needs and provide appropriate interventions throughout the surgical process. Monitor patient vital signs and overall condition during surgery, communicating effectively with the surgical team to address any concerns. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of best practices within the surgical unit. Candidate requirements
Graduate of an accredited nursing program. Must hold a current and valid nursing license. BLS certification is required or must be obtained within 30 days of commencing this position. All certifications must be issued by the American Heart Association (AHA). A minimum of 2 years of ICU experience is required.
