As a Fabricator at Lime Media, you will play a crucial role in executing and overseeing various fabrication projects. Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of tasks, including but not limited to:

Duties & Responsibilities

Woodworking: Proficient in rough and finish carpentry, cabinet making, and other woodworking techniques.

Metal Working: Welding techniques such as MIG and TIG. Sheet metal fabrication preferred.

Electrical and HVAC Systems: Design and installation of electrical and HVAC systems as needed for fabrication projects.

Generator Maintenance: Perform mechanical diagnosis, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of gas/diesel generators.

High-Level Finishing: Ensure all fabricated materials meet the highest standards of finishing.

Drawing Interpretation: Read and interpret simple/basic diagrams and schematics to guide project completion using best practices.

Project Implementation: Collaborate with shop management to implement project plans and meet daily milestones for completion.

Quality Assurance: Conduct quality assurance procedures to ensure the final product meets the highest standards.

Workspace Maintenance: Maintain a clean and orderly workspace and toolbox to ensure efficiency and safety.

Adaptability: Be flexible and willing to take on other duties as assigned to support the team and company goals.

Requirements

Forklift certified.

Proven experience in woodworking, electrical, HVAC, and generator maintenance.

Proficiency in reading diagrams and schematics.

Strong mechanical skills and problem-solving abilities.

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Demonstrated commitment to delivering high-quality work.

Previous specialty fabrication experience with a portfolio of past projects.

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift, push, and carry heavy materials greater than 50 pounds and work in various positions, including standing, stooping, squatting, kneeling, and bending for extended periods.

Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.

Work Environment

Fabrication shop, which may include exposure to noise, fumes, dust, and varying temperatures.

Required to wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).

Additional Requirements

Valid driver's license.

Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime when necessary.

Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Travel when necessary.
