Job Description
Lead quality initiatives across production and engineering teams to drive continuous improvement Analyze quality data to implement corrective and preventive actions using structured problem-solving methods Collaborate cross-functionally to integrate quality requirements into daily operations and new product development Support and train inspection teams while managing quality documentation, CAPAs, and customer interactions Utilize QMS and SPC tools to monitor performance, ensure compliance, and resolve internal and external quality issues Lead root cause investigations using structured problem-solving methodologies (e.g., PDCA, DMAIC) Develop and execute effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs) Facilitate and lead problem-solving teams focused on high-priority quality issues Travel up to 20% to support supplier and customer quality activities MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law. The Successful Applicant
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience) 3-5+ years of quality engineering experience in a manufacturing or aerospace/defense environment -
experience working with metals is highly desirable Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, AS9100, or other relevant quality standards Proficiency with problem-solving methodologies such as PDCA, DMAIC, or 8D Experience with FMEAs, Control Plans, Process Flows, and CAPAs Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and quality documentation Familiarity with quality management systems (QMS) and SPC software Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work cross-functionally and with external stakeholders What's on Offer
