Volunteer: Music Education Reception Event

Community Music Center is hosting a President's Reception on September 28 for our Board of Directors and invited guests as an appreciation for their work and support in helping CMC provide accessible music education. The event will include live music, food, and refreshments. Community Music Center (CMC) was founded in 1921 with the mission of making high-quality music accessible to people of all ages, backgrounds, and abilities, regardless of financial means. Last year, CMC served more than 3,500 students across San Francisco and awarded $3 million in tuition assistance. We are looking for several friendly and organized volunteers to help us with welcoming/checking in guests, setting up refreshments tables and keeping them stocked and tidy, and helping to serve food and drinks as guests mingle. Volunteers should dress nicely. The event is not formal, but not too casual, please (no blue jeans, etc.) Please feel free to contact mlee@sfcmc.org with any questions.
