Connections Credit Union is looking for a full-time Resolutions Specialist for our Oak branch in Pocatello. To preserve the credit union's assets by controlling delinquent loan accounts, collecting delinquent loan payments, and/or recovering collateral. Contacts delinquent accounts by phone and mail; takes appropriate action to resolve the delinquency. Prepare and file necessary legal documents; work with retained counsel as needed. Analyze the financial situation of delinquent borrowers; repossess collateral when other arrangements to bring the loan current are unsuccessful. Maintain accurate files and reports on all collections activity and ensure accurate reporting to credit bureaus. Inform Supervisor of trends in loan underwriting contributing to delinquent/charged-off loans and assist in other assigned tasks. Perform other work-related duties as assigned. Qualifications & Skills

One year or more of collections, related legal experience, and bankruptcies. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Bilingual in Spanish is preferred, but not required. Ability to demonstrate confidentiality regarding member accounts and sensitive information. High School Graduate or GED. Must be bondable. Interpersonal & Other Skills

Work involves personal contact with others inside and/or outside the organization for first-level conflict resolution, relationship building, and soliciting cooperation. Requires discretion and diplomacy in communication. Understand laws and regulations related to collections and bankruptcy. Possess good listening and people skills. Ability to objectively evaluate a member's situation in relation to the overall needs of the credit union. Physical Requirements

Perform primarily sedentary work with limited physical exertion and occasional lifting up to 20 lbs. Must be able to climb/descend stairs in emergency situations. Must be able to operate routine office equipment and work on a computer for 6-8 hours per day when necessary. May require extended hours and travel by automobile, commercial airlines, rental vehicles, and public transportation, including lodging in public facilities. Must maintain regular, reliable, and timely attendance. Schedule

Monday Friday, 8:30am 5:30pm Pay

$19.00-$25.00 per hour DOE. Annual incentives if eligible. Benefits
