Electrical Engineer I
Collins Aerospace's industry-leading cockpit displays provide the enhanced situational awareness required to drive success in both military and commercial aviation. Avionics Test Engineering has an opportunity for an Electrical Engineer I to design innovative hardware and software test solutions for an array of Collins Aerospace Display products. What You Will Do: Develop test software and hardware for automated tests for Display products. Program C# and utilize NI Test Stand on multi-rack test stations. Become familiar with switch systems, signal generators, spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, DMM's, power supplies and other digital related equipment. Develop and support of Environmental Stress Screening (thermal and vibration) test equipment and software suites. What You Will Learn: How we serve both internal and external customers, including our manufacturing and service centers, both domestic and international. You will be provided access to Collin's Aerospace communities of practice for learning and networking opportunities. The future of display products continues to develop and expand our opportunities by developing unique ideas and bringing those to market. YOU will have an active role in making this a reality. Qualifications You Must Have: Typically requires a University Degree and less than 2 years prior relevant experience or in absence of a degree, 6 years of relevant experience. Qualifications We Prefer: Problem-solving skills with ability to proactively identify alternate solutions to overcome difficult technical challenges. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve operational goals.
