Travel Job Description American Traveler is seeking an Occupational Therapist with at least 1 year of experience and an Oklahoma license for an inpatient adult rehab setting.
Responsibilities Inpatient setting within an adult rehabilitation services department Day shifts, 8 hours per day, 5 days per week Work with adult patients on individual and group therapy activities Plan, evaluate, establish, and implement both individual and group occupational therapy treatment plans under physician direction Evaluate patients' independent living skills, occupational performance, work adjustment, educational and social skills, and psychosocial abilities Develop treatment plans with short- and long-term goals and assist with home therapy and adaptive equipment instruction Inform patients and families of therapy goals and progress and assist with discharge planning May supervise students as part of the role Must wear appropriate attire as specified by the department Return to work eligibility for past employees requires a 6-month separation after completing a 26-week contract
Requirements Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy required Current license from the Oklahoma State Board of Medical Licensure and Supervision as an Occupational Therapist required Current BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association required upon hire Minimum of 1 year of occupational therapy experience Some computer skills required License required if applicable Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility; no locals accepted
