Construction Estimator

We are seeking an experienced Construction Estimator who specializes in interior commercial projects. This role involves managing multiple estimators and stakeholders to support custom projects in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities

Report to and receive support from the VP of Estimating. Read and understand construction documents. Review bid documents and examine plans. Prepare bids by quantifying and qualifying all materials. Check the accuracy of take-offs and prepare bid packages. Communicate with both internal and external sources. Receive and respond to requests for estimating. Follow up with bids and prospects to close transactions. Essential Skills

5+ years of experience in construction estimating. Proficiency in project management, construction management, estimation, and interior construction. Experience managing multiple estimates and communicating with multiple subcontractors. Ability to create cost complete reports and conduct risk mitigation. Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience from General Contractor (GC), Owner, or Designer roles. Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and presentation skills. Client interfacing experience. Ability to manage a fast-paced environment. Bachelor's or Associate's Degree in Construction Management, Project Management, Engineering, or related field (preferred). Work Environment

This position is 100% in-office located in Bethesda, MD, with project sites in the DMV area. Project durations range from 4 to 6 months. The company specializes in large luxury interiors, including hotels, offices, and restaurants, with projects ranging from $500k to $20 million, and 90% of projects are between $1 million to $5 million. This is a Permanent position based out of Bethesda, Maryland.
