Position Summary:
Responsible for program administration and clinical supervision of behavioral health department staff
Performs the role of Benjamin Rose BHS worker, maintains an active client caseload
Supports the use of the Client Information System/Electronic Health Record by helping identify and resolve issues. Collaborates closely with the behavioral health and finance teams to ensure effective use of the system.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The following description is a general representation of the key duties and responsibilities of the position:
Clinical Oversight & Supervision
Monitor quality and appropriateness of behavioral health services and staff productivity
Ensure adherence to ethical, legal, and regulatory standards
Supervise and manage staff performance, including hiring, training, and coaching; monitor and assure performance
Oversee caseloads, documentation, reporting, and compliance with funder and billing standards
Provide direct services to assigned clients and support inter-agency consultations
Program & Community Engagement
Maintain and update department manuals and client materials
Prepare incident reports and participate in CARF accreditation
Serve as liaison with community agencies, committees, ADAMHS Board, and educational institutions
Oversee field placements and training for social work students
Support and orient Senior Companion Program volunteers
Client Information System/Electronic Health Record (Carelogic) Management
· Supervise CIS Support Specialist and oversee user support and training
· Lead design, implementation, and improvement of forms, workflows, and documentation in Carelogic
· Monitor system performance, communicate with leadership and vendors, and resolve technical issues
· Ensure system compatibility with broader organizational IT infrastructure
· Analyze system usage and recommend improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness
Other Functions and Responsibilities:
Assist with staff training on new policies and procedures
Prepare reports and statistical documentation as needed
Collaborate with internal departments to support operations and quality improvement
Support program development and cross-departmental initiatives
Represent the organization on internal committees, community events, and the Hoarding Connection
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Specific knowledge, training or skills required to perform the duties of this position including specific courses, training programs or required certifications.
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills and abilities required for the position.
Master’s degree in social work counseling or related field
Unrestricted and current Ohio independent licensure as a Licensed Independent Social Worker with a Supervisor designation (LISW-S)
An insured car and a valid Ohio driver’s license are required
Knowledge of funder, regulatory and accrediting bodies including but not limited to Ohio Department of Medicaid, County ADAMHS Board, Ohio Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services (OhioMHAS), and the Commission on
Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF)
Working knowledge of client information system (CIS)/electronic health record (EHR) databases
Strong verbal, written, oral and electronic communication skills
Excellent problem solving, presentation and interpersonal skills
Excellent organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize work
Demonstrated proficiency in use of computer software (e.g. Microsoft Outlook and Office)
Demonstrated proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) software and database management.
Previous Experience that is necessary to qualify for this position:
Minimum five (5) years’ social work and clinical supervision experience, preferably in behavioral health
Minimum three (3) years’ supervisory and administrative experience in social work

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to, stand, sit; talk, hear, reach, stoop, kneel, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, keyboard and telephone
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision requirements due to computer work
Light to moderate lifting is required, up to 25 pounds
Ability to uphold the stress of traveling
Regular, predictable attendance is required
Moderate noise (i.e. business office with computers, phone, and printers, light traffic).
Ability to work in a confined area
Ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period of time
Work environment is stressful at times
