As a Senior Clinical Admin Nurse, you will play a pivotal role in providing personalized support to our UMR membership and their families to help them navigate the health care system. Your efforts will empower individuals to live fulfilling lives by coordinating with diverse partners, including consumers, their families/caregivers, medical, and various clinical teams. You will have the flexibility to work remotely from anywhere in the U.S., tackling challenging tasks while contributing meaningfully to our mission. Work Schedule:

Please be prepared to work Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Key Responsibilities: Provide members with essential tools and educational support to effectively navigate the health care system and manage their health concerns in a cost-efficient manner. Educate and guide members on Behavioral Health Substance Use Disorders (BHSUD). Assist members with adverse determinations, including navigating the appeal process. Instruct members on how to utilize UMR's internet-based wellness tools and resources. Conduct outreach to members for pre-admission counseling. Provide discharge planning support to members and their caregivers. Document all activities comprehensively for accurate reporting. Accept referrals, evaluate services, and coordinate necessary medical care and community referrals as needed. Adhere to all relevant policies, procedures, and documentation standards. Contribute actively to treatment plan discussions. Perform additional duties as assigned. Required Qualifications: Current and unrestricted RN compact license. At least 2 years of acute nursing experience. A minimum of 2 years of behavioral health nursing experience. At least 2 years in case management. Basic computer proficiency (e.g., MS Word, Outlook). Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in nursing. Certified Case Manager (CCM) certification. At least 2 years of managed care experience. Experience in critical care, pediatrics, med-surg, or telemetry. Utilization management experience. Experience with adverse determinations. Prior telecommuting experience. Soft Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Strong customer service orientation. Proven ability to work in a team and foster team building. Flexibility to manage tasks in a dynamic work environment. Please note that all remote employees must comply with UnitedHealth Group's Telecommuter Policy. Compensation for this position ranges from $58,800 to $105,000 annually based on factors like local labor markets, education, work experience, and certifications.
