Valdese Weavers is a 100% employee-owned (ESOP) company and has been in business for over 100 years. As one of the largest woven textile mills in the world, Valdese Weavers designs and manufactures residential and contract grade fabrics for furniture manufacturers, fabric distributors, and large retailers.
Job Summary: Manage multiple projects with the goal to improve quality and reduce waste.
Essential Functions: Work with production areas to improve quality and meet established goals. Work with ISO coordinator to help audit processes and update work instructions. Work on special projects as directed by VP of Product Assurance. Perform other duties as assigned. Other Requirements:
Travel between plants Work various shifts as needed Maintain spreadsheets and databases as directed. Safety:
Perform all duties in a safe manner following guidelines established by Valdese Weavers. Report all job-related injuries and safety hazards to the supervisor immediately. Actively participate in safety programs that identify, investigate, and correct safety hazards. Maintain 5S standards. PPE as Required by policy and guidelines. Position Requirements
Qualifications:
Meet all pre-employment requirements. Basic reading, writing, and math skills as required by the position. Good communication skills with the ability to work well with others
