Engineer II
We're seeking a proactive and driven Engineer II to support mature military programs focused on primary electric power generation. Based in Rockford, Illinois, this role empowers you to take the lead in critical engineering efforts while collaborating with cross-functional teams, management, and customers. What You Will Do Support manufacturing facilities with Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) investigations related to test rejects and production returns Assist repair facilities with RCCA efforts for field returns Perform validation testing of defined corrective actions to ensure effectiveness and compliance Drive implementation of corrective actions into production and repair processes Communicate technical findings and program updates related to production and field issues to internal teams, suppliers, and customers Qualifications You Must Have Requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field Qualifications We Prefer Proven ability to manage multiple complex tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating strong organizational and time-management skills. Experience with RCCA methodologies in support of both production and field return investigations, with a track record of driving and validating corrective actions. Strong attention to detail in documenting technical findings, implementing corrective actions, and ensuring compliance. Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly present technical data and root cause findings to cross-functional teams, suppliers, and customers at varying levels of technical expertise.
