Responsibilities

Oversees senior Resident Centered Care: develops RN assessments and implements individual resident care plans/service agreements to attain or maintain the highest level of physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being. Ensures care planning incorporates Honoring Choices (POLST) and the Resident Bill of Rights; ensures appropriate resident/family participation and education in care planning, with proper documentation. Ensures Clinical Compliance: plans, organizes, directs and implements comprehensive health care programs, including staff placement, medication administration, resident safety, and staff development; collaborates to develop nursing policies reflecting current practice and Ebenezers philosophy of care; evaluates and modifies goals and organizational structure to provide care aligned with best practices; ensures site compliance with regulations (MN Board of Nursing, Minnesota State Home Care Licensure, HIPAA, OSHA, CLIA, Medicaid) and advises administration on nursing services and environmental safety with appropriate specialists; develops and implements processes to collect health services data, identify trends, and evaluate actions. Manages Nursing Department Budget: participates in budget development and monitors budget compliance; prepares financial/statistical reports as requested. Provides Leadership and General Oversight of the Nursing Department: develops goals with nursing staff, supports leadership development, establishes staffing models, ensures service delivery compliance with regulations and Ebenezer policies, creates ongoing training programs, monitors employee satisfaction, ensures 24-hour RN on-call availability, and performs essential functions as needed. Leads/Coordinates Resident Care: ensures availability of tools and resources (medications, durable medical equipment), collaborates with community resources, communicates care plan needs across internal departments, and coordinates with family, physicians, and agencies to facilitate safe transfers; ensures timely assessments and updated MD orders to validate care plans. Supports Marketing Plan Aimed at Full Occupancy: promotes service excellence, collaborates with Ebenezer marketing on outreach, and solicits customer feedback and follows up on concerns. Qualifications

Associate of Arts or Vocational/Technical Training One or more years of experience Registered Nurse (Upon Hire) Basic Life Support (American Heart Association, Red Cross or MTN) Upon Hire Preferred Qualifications

The posted pay range is for a 40-hour workweek (1.0 FTE). The actual rate of pay offered within this range depends on factors such as FTE, skills, education, experience, and market conditions.
