The
Director of Emergency Services
leads and manages all clinical and operational aspects of the Emergency Department (ED). This role ensures compliance with policies and procedures, maintains safe staffing levels, oversees supply and equipment availability, and optimizes patient throughput. The director is also responsible for staff development, budgeting, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance, ensuring the highest standards of patient care and safety. Signing Bonus:

Full Responsibilities Develop, implement, and maintain department policies and procedures to ensure safe and efficient operations. Oversee staffing levels to maintain quality care and ensure compliance with established standards. Monitor and manage the department's budget, including resource allocation, cost controls, and fiscal planning. Lead quality and performance improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and care outcomes. Promote staff development through training, professional growth opportunities, and competency evaluations. Ensure department compliance with all regulatory requirements and accreditation standards. Collaborate with the CNO and Administrative Team to communicate critical updates and strategies. Actively participate in evidence-based clinical practices and promote their integration into daily operations.
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelors degree in Nursing (BSN) required. Masters degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or a related field preferred. Licensure:
Active RN license in the state of employment. Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience in Emergency Services, including leadership roles. Skills:
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills; ability to manage complex clinical and operational issues effectively.
Preferred Certifications
Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) Nurse Executive Certification (NE-BC or NEA-BC)
