Perma-Pipe in Lebanon, TN is hiring a Senior Level Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician!
We're looking for a skilled Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician to take the lead on advanced troubleshooting, repairs, and preventative maintenance across multiple trades within our facility. This role requires strong expertise in both mechanical and electrical systems, proficiency with controls and automation, and EPA-certified HVAC experience.
As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for keeping production running smoothly, improving equipment reliability, and supporting special projects that drive operational success.

Schedule:
6:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m., with potential daily overtime until 4:40 p.m., plus occasional Saturday shifts as needed.
Essential Job Functions Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. Install, program, calibrate, and maintain PLCs, control panels, sensors, and automation equipment. Perform diagnostics, repairs, and preventive maintenance on HVAC systems, including RTUs and split systems. Conduct inspections and implement corrective actions to reduce downtime. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and control diagrams. Respond promptly to equipment failures and maintenance requests. Fabricate parts or structures using machine tools, welding, or related equipment. Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and relocations. Maintain detailed records of work, parts usage, and schedules in CMMS software. Ensure all work meets OSHA, NEC, and company safety standards. Mentor and train junior maintenance team members. Collaborate with engineering, operations, and safety teams to improve equipment performance and efficiency. Job Requirements
Education:
High school diploma or GED required. Technical degree, trade certification, or equivalent experience preferred. Experience:
5+ years of hands-on industrial maintenance experience in a multi-craft role. Proven background in mechanical, electrical, and HVAC troubleshooting. Qualifications:
EPA 608 HVAC Certification strongly preferred. Proficiency in PLC troubleshooting and control systems (e.g., Allen Bradley, Omron, Siemens). Ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and manuals. Welding, fabrication, and piping experience a plus. Must provide own basic hand tools (specialty tools provided). Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CMMS or other maintenance software. Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and adapt in a fast-paced environment. Must be able to lift 50 lbs, and work at heights or in confined spaces as needed. Flexibility to work varied shifts, weekends, or on-call assignments as required. Physical Demands
Lift/carry: sedentary up to 10 lbs; light up to 20 lbs; medium up to 50 lbs regularly. Raise/lower or move objects horizontally. Frequent wrist/hand motions. Ability to respond quickly to sounds. Must move safely over uneven terrain or in confined spaces. Visual acuity required for accuracy and thoroughness of work. Standing/walking for more than 90% of shift, including long distances. Ability to work in extreme weather.
