Key Responsibilities

As a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP), you will play an essential role in the care of our pediatric patients. You will work closely with pediatricians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care. Conduct comprehensive health assessments and physical exams for pediatric patients. Diagnose and treat common pediatric conditions, illnesses, and injuries. Order and interpret diagnostic tests (labs, imaging, etc.). Provide education and counseling to families on health maintenance, disease prevention, and nutrition. Prescribe medications and other treatments as appropriate. Develop and implement individualized care plans. Collaborate with pediatricians, specialists, and other healthcare providers to coordinate care. Document patient histories, examinations, and treatments in the electronic health record (EHR). Provide patient and family education on chronic illness management, preventive care, and health promotion. Qualifications

Education: Master's degree in Nursing with a focus on Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. Licensure: Current licensure as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner in the state of Oregon. Certification: Board Certification as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP-AC or PNP-PC). Experience: Prior experience in pediatric healthcare is preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply. Skills: Strong communication skills, ability to work well in a team environment, and commitment to patient-centered care. BLS/CPR Certification (or ability to obtain). Why Join ?
