JOB LOCATION:

JOB DUTIES:
Travel to dairy farm management services company’s client farms to provide high-quality support for parlor staff and milking equipment. Specific duties include: (1) monitoring pulsation on milking units in dairy parlors; (2) recording pulsation performance information; (3) repairing and restoring pulsation equipment function; (4) identifying opportunities for improving parlor equipment performance and assisting clients with mechanical equipment challenges; (5) maintaining database of maintenance and repair information for each client; (6) preparing written reports; (7) educating clients’ parlor staff on equipment function and minor repairs.
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or related; 1 year of preventative maintenance and repair experience implementing LEAN production practices. Overnight travel 3-4 nights per week to unanticipated client farms in Iowa, Nebraska, South Dakota, and Minnesota. Remote position. Must live within 80 miles of Sioux City, IA.
