Senior Recruiter, R&D role at Axon. The role focuses on attracting and hiring top technical talent to support the mission of protecting life and building safer communities. Your Impact

As a Senior R&D Recruiter at Axon, you will lead full-cycle recruitment across Research & Development, partnering with leaders in Engineering, Product, Electrical Engineering, Hardware, and other technical functions. You will act as a strategic advisor and hands-on recruiterdesigning sourcing strategies, using data to influence decisions, and building strong relationships with executives and hiring managers. What You Bring

Experience: 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting, with at least 3 years in technical/R&D recruiting (product, electrical, hardware preferred). Agency and in-house experience is a plus. Strategic Partnering: Ability to build trusted relationships with senior leaders, influencing decisions with data and market insights. Sourcing Expertise: Advanced skills in sourcing passive technical talent through multi-channel strategies. Data-Driven: Experience reporting on hiring metrics and shaping recruiting strategies. High Volume & Complexity: Comfortable managing a heavy, diverse requisition load in a fast-paced environment. Problem-Solving: Resourceful, decisive, with the ability to propose solutions and drive outcomes. Relationship Building: Strong interpersonal and networking skills across levels. Candidate Experience: Focus on delivering a best-in-class candidate journey with professionalism and empathy. Work Location

This role is based out of our Scottsdale HQ and follows a hybrid schedule. Team members are expected to work onsite Tuesdays through Fridays, with the option to work remotely on Mondays unless there is an approved workplace accommodation. In-person collaboration is valued to foster teamwork, mentorship, and shared success. Your Day-to-Day

Own the full recruitment lifecyclefrom sourcing and assessment through offer negotiation and onboardingfor technical roles across multiple R&D teams. Partner with senior R&D leaders to define talent needs, shape role requirements, and build long-term hiring strategies. Develop and execute innovative sourcing techniques to engage passive technical talent using LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, GitHub, technical communities, referrals, and other methods. Deliver data-driven insights, recruiting metrics, and talent market trends to influence R&D hiring strategies. Manage and prioritize multiple complex requisitions while delivering timely, high-quality outcomes. Leverage Greenhouse (ATS) and other recruiting tools to maintain pipelines and generate reporting for leaders. Collaborate with the broader Talent Acquisition team to share best practices and support continuous improvement. Champion an exceptional candidate experience with clear communication, timely feedback, and authentic engagement at every stage. Coach hiring managers on interview best practices, market intelligence, and effective assessment techniques. Important Notes
