Leasing Agent Opportunity In Eatontown, New Jersey
We are looking for a leasing agent to join our team in the Eatontown, New Jersey area. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the leasing process, supporting tenants, and maintaining residential properties. This position requires strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle administrative tasks effectively. Responsibilities include engaging with prospective tenants to explain lease terms and guide them through the application process, conducting property tours and following up on rental inquiries to secure leases, preparing and managing leasing documents in compliance with company policies, collaborating with the property superintendent on move-in and move-out inspections, utilizing Yardi software to process leases, renewals, transfers, and roommate changes, addressing tenant inquiries and resolving issues promptly to maintain positive relationships, overseeing property inspections, ensuring compliance with safety standards and coordinating necessary repairs, working with subcontractors and housing assistance programs, including Section 8, partnering with the legal department to address tenant disputes and ensure regulatory compliance, and processing invoices related to property operations and tracking leasing performance metrics. Requirements include a minimum of three years of experience in leasing or property management, proficiency in Yardi software is preferred, strong interpersonal and customer service skills with the ability to build tenant relationships, familiarity with Fair Housing regulations and rental assistance programs like Section 8, the ability to manage administrative tasks efficiently and work independently or as part of a team, experience in compliance-related tasks and documentation, knowledge of property inspections and basic maintenance coordination, and excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
