Our challenge We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer with experience in ETL, Spark, Hadoop, and a Funds background. Responsibilities
Analyzing data sets, designing and coding stable and scalable data ingestion workflows, and integrating into existing workflows. Collaborating with team members and stakeholders to clarify requirements and deliver the appropriate ETL solution. Hands-on experience with data sourcing in Hadoop and GCP. Ensuring new code is tested at unit and system levels; design, develop, and peer-review new code and functionality. Operating as a team member of an agile Scrum team. Root cause analysis to identify bugs and issues for failures. Supporting production support and release management tasks. Requirements
ETL, Spark, Hadoop with funds background; proficient in Hadoop, Python, Spark, SQL, Unix and Hive. Basic understanding of on-prem and GCP data security. Hands-on development experience on large ETL/big data systems; GCP experience a big plus. Hands-on experience with cloud build, artifact registry, Cloud DNS, cloud load balancing, etc. Hands-on experience with Dataflow, Cloud Composer, Cloud Storage, DataProc, etc. Basic understanding of data quality dimensions (e.g., consistency, completeness, accuracy, lineage). Preferred, but not required
