EVP/CFO Function Description

The Compliance Analyst is responsible for supporting the credit unions compliance management program by monitoring regulatory requirements, conducting risk assessments, performing compliance testing, and assisting with regulatory reporting. This role ensures the credit union operates within all applicable federal and state banking regulations and internal policies while supporting a culture of compliance across the organization. Reports to: Supervisor - Compliance Supervises: None Contacts: All Bellco employees and officers. Qualifications/Requirements

Education:

Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or Legal Studies preferred. Additional training in credit union regulatory compliance or audit preferred. Relevant additional certifications are also preferred (e.g., NCCO, CCBCO, CRCM, CCBIA). Experience:

Minimum five years experience in consumer deposit/lending compliance, or a combination thereof. Experience in a branch and/or in lending operations environment is desirable. Previous audit or quality control review experience preferred. Skills:

Excellent written/verbal communication skills. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving/decision-making skills. Solid working knowledge of NCUA, CFPB and state credit union deposit and lending regulations. Demonstrated technical expertise in federal/state examinations procedures, compliance management, analyzing regulatory impact on consumer deposit and lending functions and processes, process improvement, and process mapping. Ability to interpret regulations and apply them to real world scenarios. High degree of integrity and discretion when handling confidential information. Ability to manage multiple priorities and adaptable to change. Equipment:

Strong computer skills in office applications. Microsoft Office Suite and compliance monitoring software a plus. Essential Functions

Regulatory Monitoring & Research Track changes to applicable federal and state banking regulations (e.g., Reg E, TILA, FCRA, UDAAP, ECOA, TISA, HMDA) and assess their impact on the credit unions policies and procedures. Assist in creating, drafting and updating compliance policies, procedures, and internal guidance documents. Maintain awareness of emerging regulatory issues and industry best practices.

Testing & Monitoring Conduct periodic and ad hoc compliance monitoring and testing of deposit and lending activities to ensure adherence to laws, regulations, and internal controls. Document results, identify gaps, and recommend corrective actions. Follow up on remediation efforts to confirm timely resolution. Collaborate with first line of defense and Portfolio Managers.

Reporting & Risk Assessment Prepare reports and dashboards for management and board committees summarizing compliance monitoring, testing results, and trends. Develop risk metrics and measurements that strengthen our risk analysis and reporting. Support annual compliance risk assessments by gathering data, analyzing results, and contributing to risk ratings.

Training & Support Assist in the development, periodic review, and delivery of compliance training programs for applicable employees. Act as a resource for business units, answering compliance-related questions and providing guidance. Support leadership in developing a high performance and results oriented team. Maintain databases, document policies and procedures associated with compliance, and cross-train with other compliance personnel as needed.

Regulatory Exams & Audits Assist with regulatory examinations and internal/external audits by gathering requested documentation and coordinating responses. Track and help manage findings to ensure timely resolution and reporting.

Other duties as assigned, including assisting with Legal and/or BSA/OFAC matters as needed. Working Conditions

Office environment. May necessitate movement to other departments. May require driving a personal or company vehicle in the routine performance of the job.
