Overview

Proposal Coordinator assists with writing, editing, and production of project marketing support materials (qualifications packages, proposals, presentations/interviews, etc.). The Proposal Coordinator may be responsible for writing entire sections of proposals. Responsibilities

Assists with the development and execution of planning and winning strategies to successfully capture work

Solicits and coordinates information from subcontractors and other team members for inclusion in proposal and presentation materials

Coordinates writing, edits/tailoring, and performs research for all proposal sections

Leads research as it relates to the proposals

Lead strategy and proposal/interview prep meetings with engineering/planning professionals and project teams

Work with the operations team to develop proposals and qualification packages that are submitted

Developing cooperative working relationships within corporate and regional teams

Lead the preparation and production of marketing materials, including coordination, formatting, writing, editing, and proofreading for proposals, statements of qualifications, and related materials

Facilitate interview preparations involving strategy and PowerPoint presentation development for the project, produce presentations, and oversee final production of presentation materials

Develop strong messaging, separators, and themes for marketing materials

Coordinate and produce marketing pieces

Coordinate special projects

Update and maintain project, employee, and client data in a database

Reviews proposal specifications, drawings, attends pre-bid meetings, etc., to determine the scope of work and required contents of the estimate

Interview operations employees for information needed for proposals

Other related duties and projects as assigned

Qualifications

AA in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or equivalent degree, or relevant experience

1-2 years of industry experience

Will ingness to periodically work outside normal working hours, and travel as required for business needs

Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel

Basic knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite

Strong editing, writing, organizational, multi-tasking, and proofreading skills

Extremely detail-oriented and proactive

Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple assignments concurrently

Team player

Positive attitude/client-service focused

Strong time management and prioritizing abilities

Strong verbal communication skills

Ability to read and understand drawings and specifications

Physical Requirements

Work is performed in an office setting

Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally, and all other sedentary criteria are met.

Pay - $

26 - $ 31

/ Hourly *Depending on Experience
