Manager, Business Transformation Apply Now ( Save Job Job ID R25_0000004489 Address 3200 Hackberry Road, Irving, Texas, 75063, United States Location Irving, Texas General Description This position is part of the Business Transformation Office responsible for providing support for key strategic and operational initiatives at 7-Eleven involving cross functional teams. The manager is responsible for supporting the organization execute business transformation initiatives to ensure cross functional alignment, drive and manage the teams to meet strict deadlines and achieve financial goals. This position involves strategic planning, operational oversight, project management, consulting, and transition / change management. Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to: u2022 Ensures that scope and business objectives are clearly documented and agreed to for complex, cross-functional initiatives. u2022 Identify and organize the appropriate cross-functional teams to achieve initiative goals. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop detailed project plans, identifying the proper work streams owners and cross-work stream dependencies. Coach teams to ensure the project team works together efficiently and effectively.u2022 Work collaboratively with business owners to define initial budget and resources required. Manage and analyze on-going financials to ensure project is tracking to budget.u2022 Understand the details of the project plan to effectively manage the dependencies and adjust plans as necessary. Drive accountability and project progress according to the aligned-on project plan. u2022 Identify and document project risks and issues, escalating when appropriate and developing mitigation strategies to minimize project impacts.u2022 Through regular cadence of reporting, ensure visibility and transparency on initiative progress milestones, financial governance, issues and risks.u2022 Focus on driving results, finding cost saving opportunities and efficiencies in the project life cycle while leveraging project best practices. In addition to the skills above, the Business Transformation Manager needs to be proficient and demonstrate the following leadership competencies: u2022 Ability to effectively build relationships to influence stakeholders and teams through indirect leadership, working across organizational lines and varying levels of the organization, including VP/SVP level.u2022 Ability to effectively facilitate and lead meetings of varying size and purpose based on audience.u2022 Demonstrated ability to communicate key project points and adjust communications as needed based on audience, making the complex simple to understand.u2022 Develop an understanding of company vision, strategy, and key initiatives. Achieve detailed understanding of functional area of the project and related processes to be able to challenge assumptions and thinking and provide thought leadership.u2022 Ability to solve problems by assessing the situation, leveraging data where applicable, identifying root cause and developing potential solutions.u2022 Ability to operate in environments with ambiguity and ability create clarity.u2022 High level of agility and adaptability; ability to quickly learn details of new business functions and operate in various project methodologies.u2022 Identify dependencies and impacts of project changes across other key initiatives.u2022 Develop metrics and KPIs to measure the success of transformation initiatives.u2022 Manage collaboration and communication with other teams, both internal and external, to ensure teams have what they need and can work efficiently. u2022 Education: Bachelors/4-Yr Degree, MBA/Masteru2019s preferred u2022 Experience: 4 - 6 yearsu2019 experience in business transformation, change management, or process improvement. u2022 Proven track record of leading successful transformation projects in a corporate environment. u2022 Strong analytical skills and process improvement viewpoint. u2022 Strong Word/Excel/PowerPoint skills mandatory. u2022 Excellent verbal & written communication skills required. u2022 Effectively interact & influence internal & external stakeholders at all levels.
