Our client, a leading semiconductor client, is looking for a Planner / Buyer. Job Duration: Long-Term Contract (Possibility Of Further Extension & FT Conversion) Job Location: Milpitas, CA Rate: $35-$38/hr on W2 Company Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Paid Sick Leave, 401K Job Summary: Responsible for planning and scheduling the movement of materials through the production cycle. Ensures timely procurement based on engineering and production schedules to maintain optimal inventory levels. Key Responsibilities: Monitor material flow and determine purchasing needs. Execute just-in-time (JIT) purchases. Resolve material discrepancies and ensure compliance with standards. Track production order costs and schedules against the build plan. Qualifications: Experience in materials or production planning. Familiarity with MRP/ERP systems. Strong analytical and communication skills.
