Lead Trainer For Us Coast Guard Program
GovCIO is currently hiring for a Lead Trainer for our US Coast Guard program. This position is fully remote. The Lead Trainer will provide technical support for computers and associated networks. They will install, troubleshoot, service, and repair personal computers and network equipment. They will also provide personal computer, hardware, and software support, connect personal computers and terminals to existing data networks, and maintain network diagrams and circuit records. Additionally, the Lead Trainer will maintain trouble logs, instruct users in the use of personal computers and networks, and investigate information, network, and communications needs of users to make recommendations regarding software and hardware purchases. They will also perform basic PC, PBX, and network software programming. The Lead Trainer will confer with staff, users, and management to establish requirements for new systems or modifications, install and perform minor repairs to hardware, software, and peripheral equipment, and answer questions or resolve computer problems for clients or staff in person, via telephone, or from a remote location. They will maintain records of daily data communication transactions, problems, and remedial actions taken, and installation activities. They will also develop training materials and procedures and/or train users in the proper use of hardware and software. Qualifications for the Lead Trainer position include a Bachelor's degree with 2-5 years of training experience or commensurate experience. If hired, the employee will be in an "at-will position" and the GovCIO reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, GovCIO or individual department/team performance, and market factors. The posted salary range is USD $50,000.00 - USD $65,000.00/Yr.
