Located in the heart of the Coachella Valley, you have access to resort-style living and world-class amenities throughout Southern California. Organizes, implements, and achieves direct fundraising goals set by the President, Foundation. Must plan, manage, and execute the fundraising plan for major prospective donors at $300,000 and above for 24/7 Recognition, Campaign Gifts, and Planned Giving. The incumbent will be tasked with taking a team approach while personally soliciting major donations. This position requires independent judgment, communication, relationship-building, analytical, and organizational skills. Meets with donors regularly. Coordinates with Senior Leadership to strategize and report progress toward goals, as assigned, on a consistent basis. Achieves major, planned, and campaign giving objectives. Job Description: Education: N/A Licensure/Certification: N/A Experience: Required: Five (5) years of Development experience with a proven record of raising funds at the Major Gift Level. Preferred: Experience in the healthcare industry. Demonstrates compliance with the Code of Conduct and policies, takes action to resolve questions or concerns, and reports suspected violations. Plans, manages, and executes the fundraising strategy for prospective donors at $300,000 and above. Creates effective strategic relationships for cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of new donors and prospects. Composes correspondence, proposals, and presentations that effectively represent Eisenhower's fundraising goals. Works effectively with foundation staff, adopting a team approach to fundraising. Maintains detailed donor/prospect interactions through timely entries into the Foundation's Contact Management Software. Uses independent judgment to develop effective strategies and fundraising plans to meet or exceed goals set by the President, Foundation. Exercises discretion and judgment in the identification, research, cultivation, and solicitation of donors and prospects to increase donations at $300,000 and above. Researches, analyzes, and synthesizes information to articulate institutional activities and priorities during meetings with donors and prospects, trustees, and volunteer leadership. Can compose correspondence, proposals, and presentations for meetings with donors and prospects. Understands medical terminology, treatments, and procedures. Keeps knowledge of successful annual fund appeals and how to track and present results. Possesses excellent writing, analytical, marketing, and time management skills. Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills necessary for dealing with donors, trustees, and staff. Prioritizes work effectively, demonstrating strong work ethics and independence. Capable of working with a diverse population and thinking critically when engaging with donors. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and the Foundation's Contact Management Software. Possesses thorough knowledge of donor databases, reporting, and data entry. Exhibits good judgment, is highly organized, and can balance priorities, think independently, and take initiative. Interacts well with donors, prospects, and volunteer leadership, listening attentively and articulating institutional needs and priorities.
