We are seeking an experienced PACU Registered Nurse to join Mount Sinai Brooklyn on a travel contract. This role covers a staff nurse currently on maternity leave. Key Responsibilities: Provide safe, evidence-based post-anesthesia care to adult patients. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members on patient care plans. Prioritize patient education, discharge planning, and family support. Maintain accurate documentation in EPIC. Perform charge nurse duties as assigned. Support Mount Sinai’s Relationship Centered Care model through purposeful rounding, patient education, and service recovery when needed. Unit Details: Average census: 6 6 beds in unit Staffing ratio: 1:1–2 Experience recovering intubated patients post-surgery required Requirements

Active NY State RN License BLS and ACLS certifications Minimum 2 years RN experience (PACU/Post-Op management preferred) 1 year travel experience preferred (not required for per diem) EPIC experience highly preferred Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred (Associate degree accepted with relevant experience or BSN enrollment) Schedule
