Pay Information $2,470 per week About The Position Job Title: Travel RN - Labor & Delivery Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Labor & Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 7 PM - 7 AM Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years in Labor and Delivery Description: We are seeking a Travel RN specializing in Labor and Delivery. Candidates must have at least 2 years of experience in a Labor and Delivery setting. Experience in circulating C-sections is required. Preferred candidates will have more than 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience. High-risk labor and delivery experience is a plus. The unit has 26 beds and a staff of 112, including nurses and support personnel. Patient ratios are 1:1 for high-risk labor and C-sections. For antepartum and related cases, the ratio is 1:2, and for postpartum cases without a baby, it is 1:3. Common procedures performed on this unit include C-sections, inductions, artificial rupture of membranes, and monitoring techniques. We use various types of equipment, including Alaris pumps, PCA pumps, telemetry, and monitoring systems. The electronic medical record system utilized is CPN gold and Meditech. We encourage a hard-working and flexible attitude among staff members. Our team enjoys a self-scheduling system that enhances overall staff satisfaction. Team nursing is a priority, ensuring that all nurses support one another when needed. The leadership team is strong and provides support to all nursing staff. Tenured nurses with significant experience are valuable resources within the unit.
