Overview
Join our dynamic team as a Senior Human Resources Business Partner, where you will partner with business and functional leaders at mid to senior levels to influence the design and execution of business strategy. Your consultative support and leadership will be crucial in translating business plans into effective talent and organizational strategies focused on enhancing organizational capability and performance. This role supports a Commercial Sales client group across 26 states in the Midwest and Southwest US, with hub locations in Dallas, Wood Dale (IL), and Lenexa (KS).
Responsibilities
Building Business Relationships
Develop trusted relationships with mid to senior-level clients and proactively recommend innovative HR solutions.
Actively engage in leadership teams, providing influence and challenge to foster growth.
Stay informed about current and future business trends, both internal and external, to provide relevant support.
Offer coaching and guidance to leadership to enhance effectiveness.
Strategy & Planning
Advise leaders on strategies to enhance organizational capabilities and processes.
Translate business objectives into talent and organizational plans that contribute to the People Strategy.
Support transformational change initiatives with consulting and frameworks for successful change management.
Ensure the leadership pipeline and succession plans are effectively maintained.
Collaborate with HR Centers of Excellence to align HR services with specific business needs.
Utilize outcome-based metrics to discern trends and inform business decisions.
Achieving Business Outcomes
Ensure the development of strong leadership teams and participate in senior talent recruitment efforts.
Drive organizational performance through a focus on productivity, quality, and service excellence.
Promote a positive workplace culture that values engagement, diversity, and inclusion.
Create and maintain a high-performance work environment that attracts top talent and delivers exceptional results.
Qualifications
Experience:
8-10 years of experience in exempt-level HR, and at least 5 years as an HR Business Partner. Education:
Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s Degree preferred. Knowledge:
Proficiency in MS Office and HR systems; a solid understanding of labor laws. Skills:
Strong project management, analytical abilities, leadership qualities, strategic influence, business acumen, agility, results-driven mindset, decision-making prowess, organizational savvy, and adaptability in ambiguous situations. Note:
