About the Team
The Talent Acquisition team at Relativity Space collaborates closely with hiring managers to develop hiring strategies that align with our business objectives. Our University Recruiting team is currently seeking a dedicated Senior University Recruiter to spearhead intern programming and serve as the primary point of contact across our locations.
About the Role
We are eager to find a contract Senior University Recruiter to lead our early talent strategy. This includes crafting exceptional intern programs and cultivating strong, lasting relationships with universities. You will manage the entire recruitment lifecycle for interns and new graduates across various disciplines, playing a crucial role in shaping the future workforce of Relativity.
In collaboration with our University Team, you will:
Guide the full recruitment process for interns and new grads, from sourcing to interviews and offers.
Oversee the comprehensive intern experience, including onboarding, programming, mid-term check-ins, final reviews, and exit interviews.
Establish strong partnerships with career centers, professors, and student organizations; plan and implement recruiting events and outreach initiatives.
Utilize data and feedback to enhance our hiring funnel, streamline operations, and promote an inclusive, equitable process.
Work with our employer branding team to amplify our campus presence and communicate Relativity's mission to students.
Travel to campuses and events throughout the year, especially during the busy fall recruiting season.
Onsite Requirements:
This role requires you to work onsite at our Long Beach Headquarters or Cape Canaveral site, five days a week, to support interviews, team meetings, and hiring discussions. About You 5+ years of full-cycle university recruiting experience, ideally in a dynamic organization with a substantial internship program (100+ interns/year). Proven success in managing internship and new grad programs that yield high conversion rates and exceptional candidate experiences. Expertise in building and maintaining relationships with key university stakeholders, including career centers and faculty. Able to navigate ambiguity and thrive in a fast-changing environment. A confident and collaborative communicator, skilled in influencing across all levels. Dedicated to equitable hiring practices and fostering inclusive candidate experiences. Willingness to travel frequently during peak recruiting seasons. Nice to Haves but Not Required: Experience in tech, aerospace, engineering, or related industries. Familiarity with recruiting tools like Greenhouse, RippleMatch, Yello, or similar. Strong data analysis skills to monitor pipeline metrics, DEI outcomes, and assess event ROI.
