Job Title: Material Handler
Job Description
As a Material Handler, you will play a crucial role in managing warehouse inventory and processes. You will be responsible for reading work orders, picking the correct items, and ensuring that pallets are properly assembled with the heaviest items at the bottom. You will operate cherry pickers, reach trucks, or forklifts to efficiently move items and prepare them for shipment.
Responsibilities
Read work orders to accurately pick and assemble orders.
Operate cherry pickers, reach trucks, or forklifts to move and pick orders.
Pay close attention to detail to ensure the correct product is picked.
Assemble crates for products being shipped to other companies.
Transport orders to shrink wrapping equipment to prepare for shipment.
Lift materials weighing between 50-100 pounds.
Essential Skills
Experience with warehouse operations, specifically order filling.
Proficiency in operating forklifts, reach trucks, or pallet jacks.
Must have experience with Crown forklifts.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Work Environment
The work environment is clean and organized, primarily handling large amounts of paper. Material Handlers will pull, cut, and ship paper to customers. The role requires comfort with independent work in a physical, fast-paced setting. The first shift operates Monday through Friday, from 6 am to 2 pm.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $41600.00 - $41600.00/yr.
