Position Overview:

Join Nationwide as a Consultant in Sales Compensation, Sales Performance, and Operations. You will collaborate with leaders and business partners across the organization to enhance sales compensation services, help build business cases, and architect solutions that drive sales and operational improvements. Key Responsibilities

Consult with business partners to optimize sales processes and systems. Lead continuous improvement efforts across the sales compensation team, diagnose manual processes, and implement solutions. Drive process optimization and efficiency through Lean Six Sigma, Agile, or other project management methodologies. Identify opportunities for automation and streamlining of sales compensation processes. Preferred Skills and Qualifications

Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to interface with technical and non-technical teams. Experience in project management and methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma and Agile/Waterfall. Proven track record in driving change and leading initiatives for process improvement and operational excellence. Ability to map out processes and understand the data landscape. Experience in reporting: creating dynamic and interactive reports and dashboards. Problem-solving skills to address complex data challenges and improve existing systems. Relevant experience in continuous improvement, data governance, and project management. Technical Skills:

Familiarity with SQL Server, Microsoft Access, Power BI, Snowflake a plus. Work Arrangements

As a Sales and Performance Consultant, you will provide sales compensation services to business leaders, create and develop sales incentive plans, and review accuracy of sales incentive and commission payments. You will build relationships across the organization as you collaborate with leaders and partners from different areas. Job Description Key Responsibilities

Provide sales performance compensation services for multiple sales product lines. Prepare sales incentive plans in collaboration with business leaders, identify opportunities to enhance plans. Ensure sales incentive payments and commissions are processed accurately and timely. Maintain sales systems with oversight and facilitate sales software training as needed. Consult with business partners regarding sales processes. Partner with leaders to ensure incentive payments align with plan design and recommend improvements for effectiveness. Conduct sales data extraction from various sources, develop and maintain ad hoc reports, and provide leadership with trend analyses and recommendations. Collaborate with multiple business areas to resolve issues related to licensing, underwriting, accounting, production crediting, incentive payments, and administration. May perform other responsibilities as assigned. Reporting Relationships:

Reports to Sales Performance & Operations leader. Typical Skills and Experiences: Education:

Preferred undergraduate degree in business, marketing, insurance, or related field. Experience:

Typically eight years in sales performance and operations or related fields such as sales incentive administration, financial services, or business process management. Knowledge, Abilities and Skills:

Knowledge of commission and/or sales incentive payment processes; understands plan designs; strong verbal and written communication for interaction with sales leadership; strong analytical ability to analyze payment process issues; decision-making, organization, and planning skills; ability to translate business questions into analytical questions and conduct analyses; ability to operate multiple databases and software. Other criteria, including leadership skills and experiences, may take precedence. Staffing exceptions require approval by the hiring manager and HR partner. Values:
