Continuous Improvement Consultant, Sales Compensation, Sales Performance, and Operations at Nationwide. Key Responsibilities

Consult with business partners to optimize sales processes and systems. Lead continuous improvement efforts across the sales compensation team, diagnosing manual processes and implementing solutions. Drive process optimization and efficiency through Lean Six Sigma, Agile, or other project management methodologies. Identify opportunities for automation and streamlining of sales compensation processes. Provides sales performance compensation services for multiple sales product lines. Prepares sales incentive plans in collaboration with business leaders and discovers opportunities to enhance plans. Ensures sales incentive payments and commissions are processed accurately and timely. Ensures sales systems are running accurately with oversight; may facilitate sales software training. Consults with business partners regarding sales processes. Partners with leaders to ensure incentive payments align with plan design and recommends improvements for sales effectiveness. Conducts sales data extraction from various sources; develops, analyzes, and maintains ad hoc reports; advises leadership on trends. Collaborates with multiple business areas to resolve issues with licensing, underwriting, accounting, production crediting, incentive payments, and administration. Preferred Skills And Qualifications

Strong analytical and communication skills; able to interface with technical and non-technical teams. Experience in project management and methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma and Agile/Waterfall. Proven track record in driving change and leading initiatives for process improvement and operational excellence. Ability to map out processes and understand the data landscape. Reporting: experience creating dynamic and interactive reports and dashboards. Problem-Solving: strong ability to address complex data challenges and improve systems. Relevant Experience: continuous improvement, data governance, and project management. Technical Skills: familiarity with SQL Server, Microsoft Access, Power BI; Snowflake is a plus. Work Arrangements

Education:

Preferred undergraduate degree in business, marketing, insurance or related field. Experience:

Typically eight years of experience in sales performance and operations; related fields include sales incentive administration, financial services, business process management. Knowledge, Abilities and Skills:

Knowledge of commission/sales incentive payment processes; understanding of plan designs; strong communication; analytical problem-solving; organizational and planning skills; ability to formulate business questions and conduct analyses; ability to operate multiple databases and software.
