Job Description: RCS Implementation Specialist
Location: Appoquinimink School District (Middletown, Delaware)
Job Type: Full-time Contract
Salary: Starting at $55,000

The Opportunity: We're seeking a community-minded Implementation Specialist to serve as site lead for our Restorative Community School campus. You'll facilitate, implement, and sustain restorative practices while fostering inclusive communities for students, staff, and families.
Key Responsibilities
Student and Classroom Engagement: Lead community building circles and conduct proactive classroom visits; Build and nurture relationships with students through individual check-ins and conferencing; Deliver social emotional skills training and self-regulation techniques; Facilitate student mediation, restorative circles, and conferencing Staff and Leadership Collaboration: Lead professional learning and training on foundational restorative practices and circles; Facilitate staff wellness, regulation techniques, and coaching on positive student relationships; Conduct restorative conferences and provide resources for behavior contracts, intervention plans, and restorative tools Community Partnership: Serve as the liaison between the school and community, connecting families to public and wrap-around services (e.g., food banks, health care); Develop and sustain partnerships with local businesses; Coordinate "Community in Unity" events to strengthen school and community ties Highfive Team Responsibilities: Attend weekly planning meetings with the RCS Executive Director and other designated team meetings; Track and analyze data to measure the effectiveness of services; Complete usability testing on Highfive ed-tech software Qualifications and Skills

You are a passionate educator experienced in working with youth, community members, and school leaders. You possess a growth mindset and are passionate about Restorative Practices & SEL. You have strong organizational, written, and oral communication skills. You are self-motivated and can work independently while building trust in relationships. You have knowledge of community resources and are great at connecting people to move work forward.
