What This Job Involves: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Controls Manager to join our team supporting a well-known tech client account. As the Project Controls Manager, you will support project and program management efforts with the development and analysis of project budgets, costs, schedules and delivery status. The PCM will participate in the planning, tracking, forecasting, analysis and reporting on financial information for projects and programs of varying size and complexity. The Project Controls manager will provide key support to project and program management efforts monitoring project progress, coordinating and tracking cost and schedule data and identifying key project delivery risks and issues. Key responsibilities: Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to develop and implement project controls processes, tools, and standards across our portfolio of projects. Work closely with Project Managers and Schedulers to develop and maintain cost and resource loaded project schedules Perform regular project progress tracking and analysis, identifying potential schedule delays, cost overruns, and quality deviations, and recommend corrective actions. Implement and manage project cost control processes, including budget development, forecasting, and tracking, to ensure projects stay within budgetary constraints. Review, validate and update as necessary, individual project and program level financial forecasts on a monthly basis Gather project financial information and data from key project stakeholders Analyze project financial trends by comparing budget against actual and forecast data; provide recommendations and guidance to the Project Manager Collaborate with project teams to monitor and track project risks and develop risk mitigation strategies. Generate and distribute regular project reports, dashboards, and metrics to stakeholders, providing accurate and timely updates on project progress, cost, and quality. Conduct regular project audits and reviews to assess compliance with project controls standards and identify areas for improvement. Manage information and data within various software and databases Stay updated on industry best practices, emerging project controls technologies, and advancements in project management methodologies to drive continuous improvement. Qualifications and Skills: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. Additional certifications or professional accreditation, including Project Management Professional (PMP) certification are a plus. Minimum of 8 years of experience in project controls, project management, or related roles within the real estate or construction industry. Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and processes, including project scheduling, cost control, risk management, and document control. Proficiency in project controls software and tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera P6, Procore) to develop and track project schedules, budgets, and metrics. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify project risks, assess impacts, and provide practical recommendations. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders. Ability to work well under pressure, adapt to changing priorities, and handle complex situations. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets Familiarity with Google Suite Tools Coordinate with senior leadership on communications of Project Controls information with stakeholders Ability to collaborate with various stakeholders at varied levels with different leadership styles Expertise in financial analysis, schedule analysis, modeling and budgeting methodologies Demonstrated success working in a fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environment Ensure a high level of accuracy and customer service is delivered by team members Knowledge of construction industry practices, regulations, and building codes. Experience in reviewing and interpreting contracts, scope of work, and related project documentation. Knowledge of real estate industry practices and financial analysis concepts is desirable. Estimated compensation for this position: 124,800.00 164,020.00 USD per year This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
