About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and technically skilled BI Engineer to design, build, and maintain robust data pipelines and visualization tools that empower data-driven decision-making across the organization. The ideal candidate will work closely with stakeholders to translate business needs into actionable insights by developing and optimizing BI solutions. Location.
This role is office-based at our Trivandrum, Kerala office. What You'll Do (Key Responsibilities)
Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) pipelines to support data integration from multiple sources. Build and optimize data models and data warehouses for business reporting and analysis. Develop dashboards, reports, and data visualizations using BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker, etc.). Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders to understand reporting needs and deliver effective solutions. Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across reporting systems. Perform data validation, cleansing, and transformation as necessary. Identify opportunities to automate processes and improve reporting efficiency. Monitor BI tools and infrastructure performance, and troubleshoot issues as needed. Stay up-to-date with emerging BI technologies and best practices. Required Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field. 24 years of experience as a BI Engineer, Data Engineer, or similar role. Proficiency in SQL and experience with data modeling and data warehousing (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery). Experience with BI and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, Looker). Strong understanding of ETL processes and data pipeline design. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Preferred
Experience with Python, R, or other scripting languages for data manipulation. Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform). Knowledge of version control (e.g., Git) and CI/CD practices. Experience with APIs, data governance, and data cataloging tools. Compensation
