Shift Details:
This position involves working two back-to-back events in a single day.
A 1.5-hour unpaid meal break will be scheduled between events.
Total shift duration may extend to 10-12 hours based on event requirements.
Reliability, stamina, and professionalism are essential for this role.
Event Usher Responsibilities
We invite you to join our team to help create a welcoming, safe, and well-organized environment for guests attending a variety of events, from rodeos to concerts.
Core Responsibilities:
Warmly greet guests upon entry and scan or check tickets.
Assist guests in locating their seats and navigating the venue.
Provide clear directions to restrooms, concessions, exits, first aid, etc.
Enforce venue policies and handle any guest issues as necessary.
Ensure smooth crowd flow by keeping aisles, stairs, and entrances clear.
Monitor to prevent guests from sitting or standing on fences.
Ensure that no one is vaping or recording video during the event.
Qualifications & Skills:
Preferred experience in customer service or event roles (6+ months).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle upset guests with friendliness and confidence.
Additional Guidelines:
Eat before your shift, as concessions open when doors open, and you cannot eat while working unless on a designated break in the assigned area.
Avoid bringing large personal items; locker space is limited. Bring your own lock if you need to use a locker on-site.

Quick to adapt to changing tasks in a fast-paced event environment.
General Requirements:
As an Event Staff/Food Service member, your duties may include:
Collaborating with team members to cook, prepare, serve, or transport food items.
Engaging with customers while operating a point of sale machine or cash register courteously.
Cleaning and sanitizing dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment at the start or end of your shift.
Being active on your feet for the entirety of the shift, either stationary or moving continuously.
Performing physically demanding tasks like reaching, crouching, and bending.
Comfortable working in a busy and at times hectic environment.
Wearing close-toed shoes and pants is required; specific dress codes may apply.
For positions that involve food handling, adhere to GMP guidelines which include hair management, neat nails, and possibly covering facial hair.
