This position is responsible for recruiting and providing admission counseling to prospective students as well as scheduling and assisting with prospective student and group visitation program for all Dalton State campuses. Responsibilities

Facilitates prospective student visitation program

40% Recruits, trains, and supervises student ambassadors for the Admissions Student Ambassador Program Collaborates with local high schools to plan group campus tours Advises the Admissions Student Ambassador Program Assists with all prospective student events Schedules and assists with on-campus visitation programs for all campuses Recruits students

30% Attends recruitment events, including college and career fairs Visits high schools to recruit students Makes admissions presentations at high schools and on campus Coordinates activities with high school counselors Creates and strengthens relationships with high school counselors Acts as admissions representative for Dalton State Mountain Campus Provides admission guidance to prospective students

20% Meets with prospective students and parents to provide information and assistance Assists students in the completion of admissions documents Performs related duties

10% Responsible for the Office of Admissions social media accounts Assists with graduation exercises Maintains records and prepares reports Assists with summer Orientations Assists with dual enrollment program duties

Required Qualifications

Educational Requirements Baccalaureate degree in a course of study related to the occupational field or equivalent combination of education and related work experience. Other Required Qualifications Must hold a valid driver's license. Required Experience One year of related experience required. Preferred Qualifications
