Overview

The UVA Department of Radiology and Medical Imaging is seeking a full-time Radiology Fellowship Programs Administrator to join the Departments Medical Education Team. The incumbent will coordinate day-to-day operations of the programs and serve as a liaison with Program Directors, trainees, Department leadership, education team members, School of Medicine, UVA Clinical Staff Office, GME, the ACGME, and faculty. The Fellowship Program Administrator will participate as an integral member of the Education Team and provide support essential to the success of the programs. Responsibilities

Fellowships:

In partnership with the other Fellowship Program Administrator, coordinate the Departments seven fellowship programs, including three ACGME-accredited programs. Assist program directors in day-to-day operations, support the training needs of fellows, and submit information for compliance and accreditation requirements. Be knowledgeable of ACGME and program requirements, policies, and procedures. Other responsibilities include coordinating the departments recruitment and hiring functions, preparing faculty and resident evaluation reports, coordinating onboarding and offboarding, and performing administrative activities for programs using the New Innovations system (managing fellowship rotations, overseeing duty hours, and coordinating evaluations). Clinical Instructors:

The departments fellowship programs include clinical instructors (one-year tenure-ineligible clinical faculty positions). Support recruitment, onboarding, fellowship administration, and offboarding for Clinical Instructors, coordinating with Program Directors, School of Medicine, UPG, UVA Medical Center, Clinical Staff Office (CSO), and other internal and external contacts. Work closely with the Clinical Staff Office, Program Directors, and instructors to ensure Clinical Instructors have the required credentialing and are issued privileges. Ensure that Clinical Instructors obtain and maintain all licenses, certifications, and other required training credentials. Other responsibilities:

Prepare VISAs for incoming fellowship trainees; coordinate the monthly intersession Career Exploration Program for 3rd Year Medical Students; support the process for bringing in observers and mentees; and assist the ABR Alternative pathway coordinator with preparing and processing documents for International Management Graduates. Minimum Requirements

Education: High School Diploma. Experience: Six years of experience. A Bachelor's degree may substitute for experience. Preferred Qualifications

Familiar with national entities such as ACGME, ABR, ACR, NRMP Experience using the New Innovations platform, or another program management platform Experience using institutional platforms such as Qgenda, Workday, Zoom, Teams and Qualtrics Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint) Strong interpersonal and communication skills Attention to detail and ability to work independently or collaboratively Problem-solving capabilities and a positive, team-oriented mindset Physical Demands

This is primarily a sedentary job involving extensive use of desktop computers. The role may occasionally require traveling to attend meetings and programs. This is a restricted position, contingent upon funding and performance. Additional Details

Salary will be commensurate with education and experience. This is a non-exempt, benefited position. Learn more about UVA benefits. The position is based in Charlottesville, VA, and is eligible for a hybrid schedule of two days on campus per week, with additional on-site presence as needed, in accordance with UVAs remote work guidelines.
