Job Responsibilities Perform thorough patient assessments, conducting physical examinations and reviewing medical histories in detail Assist in diagnosing surgical conditions by interpreting imaging studies and laboratory results Work closely with surgeons to create and implement personalized surgical treatment strategies Provide essential intraoperative assistance, ensuring optimal room preparation and patient positioning while expertly handling surgical instruments Offer outstanding pre- and post-operative care, which includes administering medications, managing wound care, planning discharges, and educating patients Qualifications
Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program Preferably underwent clinical rotations emphasizing surgical practice Certifications
Current and unrestricted
PA-C
certification BLS
and
ACLS
certifications essential Possess state licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant Essential Skills
