Cardinal Equipment Services is seeking a self-motivated and strategic Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our Human Resources team in Winter Haven, FL. This exempt-level role plays a critical part in identifying, engaging, and onboarding top talent across all functions and geographies. As a trusted partner to the business, you will help shape our workforce by aligning recruitment strategies with organizational goals. Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end recruitment efforts across various departments and locations. Collaborate with hiring managers to assess staffing needs and develop strategic hiring plans. Ensure alignment with budgeted headcount and workforce planning. Make connections between all talent management phases (acquisition, development, retention, culture). Use data and market insights to develop and execute strategies and hiring decisions. Successfully blends diversity, regulatory requirements and business strategy throughout the process. Act as a subject matter expert and resource to Hiring Managers on external market conditions and all aspects of the recruitment process including compliance, sourcing, recruitment marketing, interview, selection and offer negotiation. Guide Hiring Managers through candidate profiling, sourcing, interviewing, and offer negotiation. Provide timely and strategic hiring recommendations. Proactively source passive candidates and build strong talent pipelines. Ensure a seamless and positive candidate experience from application to onboarding. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS). Support employer branding initiatives through social media and outreach campaigns. Represent the company at job fairs, networking events, and other outreach activities (20% travel required). Conduct employment application reviews and match candidates to job requirements. Communicate job details, compensation, benefits, and career growth opportunities to applicants. Present offers and send regret notifications professionally and empathetically. Verify hiring documentation and ensure accuracy for onboarding.

Personable, with strong verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational and time management abilities. Independent decision-making with minimal supervision. High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities. Productive and efficient planning and executing work with multiple projects/priorities. Driven to build positive relationships with hiring managers, business partners and teammates. Ability to maintain confidentiality and assess candidate qualifications effectively.
Education and Experience
Bachelors degree in business, Human Resources, Psychology or related field; or Associates Degree with 5+ years of Recruitment Experience. Minimum of 3 years of experience in high-volume recruitment experience; warehouse and/or production hiring preferred. Proven success in sourcing, screening and scheduling candidates. Experience influencing hiring decisions at all levels of the organization. Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel. Experience with various ATS systems and recruitment sources: Indeed, LinkedIn and Monster preferred. Experience researching local industry/employment market to drive recruiting process. The Talent Acquisition Specialist role will require regular participation in job fair events. As such, you will be required to travel (company paid) 10-20% of your time.
