Overview
As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, youll be responsible for attracting top talent to FirstService Residential in partnership with our Human Resources team and internal stakeholders. Through full-cycle recruiting, campus recruiting initiatives, and building great relationships with hiring managers, youll promote a strategic hiring process aligned with organizational goals. This hybrid position reports to our corporate office in Midtown Manhattan, New York. Responsibilities
Lead full-cycle recruitment efforts for a variety of roles, including job posting, sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer negotiation, and onboarding. Develop and execute campus recruiting strategies, including attending career fairs, hosting information sessions, and building relationships with university career centers. Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop tailored recruitment plans. Source candidates using various channels including job boards, social media, employee referrals, and networking events. Conduct initial candidate assessments and interviews, ensuring alignment with job requirements and company culture. Coordinate interview logistics and provide support throughout the candidate experience. Draft and extend offer letters, initiate background checks, and manage onboarding documentation. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the applicant tracking system (ATS). Track and report recruitment metrics and KPIs to support continuous improvement. Ensure compliance with company policies and employment laws throughout the hiring process. Represent the company at campus events, job fairs, and networking functions to promote employer brand. Support diversity and inclusion initiatives through targeted outreach and inclusive hiring practices. Provide administrative support to the Talent Acquisition Manager and HR team as needed. Skills & Qualifications
Associates degree or higher in Human Resources, Business, Communications, or a related field. 23 years of experience in a recruiting coordinator, human resources coordinator, or related position; experience recruiting in a high-volume environment strongly preferred. Familiarity with ATS software, including Jobvite and Talemetry, strongly preferred. Familiarity with sourcing databases, including Indeed SmartSourcing and LinkedIn Recruiter, required. Familiarity with HRIS software, including ADP Vantage, ADP Workforce Now, and Asurint preferred. Works effectively with coworkers, clients, customers, and others by sharing ideas in a constructive and positive manner; addresses problems and issues constructively to find mutually acceptable and practical business solutions. Must possess a high energy attitude and an ability to multi-task/prioritize different projects at any given time. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion. What We Offer
