Our team, the Command and Control, Battle Management and Communications (C2BMC) team at Lockheed Martin, is dedicated to engineering, developing, and integrating new capabilities for the Missile Defense System that protects the United States and its allies. While we are part of a large organization, we operate within smaller, agile teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Our responsibilities include Sensor/Weapon Integration, Algorithm Development, User Interface Development, Automated Testing, Cyber Security, and enhancing critical missile defense technologies. This position will support the C2BMC Product Integration team. Specific tasks will include, but are not limited to: Installation and configuration of Linux and Windows HW platforms from the OS up to the C2BMC developed applications. Documentation and verification of all installation and configuration steps in documentation to be delivered to the customer. Develop installation scripts to automate the system installation. Develop test plans/procedures for software integration test conduct, be responsible for integration/execution, detailed data analysis, and preparation of software test reports. Coordinate execution of SW integration tests to verify system operation. Work with software developers as needed to help diagnose and identify the root cause of problems found during software integration. Submit problem reports for errors found. Responsible for implementing all Information Assurance directives on the systems to include running IA scans. Task and coordinate daily integration activities with other local team members. Please Note: This position requires a government security clearance; you must be a U.S. Citizen for consideration. Occasional travel will be required for this position including support to installation and checkout at customer sites (including OCONUS) As leaders of the C2BMC team, Lockheed Martin partners with industry leaders to develop and field the backbone of America's missile defense. Basic Qualifications: A final secret clearance is required Experience in the integration of separate software components into a single system Experience with Linux and Windows system administration including installing and configuring systems from the OS level up. Experience with VMWare systems administration and installing. Experience with Information Assurance policies and procedures and the ability to apply IA requirements to an existing system. Experience with scripting and automation technologies Experience with Git A Security+ certification Desired Skills: Hands on experience automated test tools. Ability to read and troubleshoot application source code Familiarity with Java and object oriented development a plus. Ability to work in a fast paced environment and adapt to change. Knowledge/expertise in the C2BMC concept of operations and user interface is desired Experience writing installation manuals. Must be able to write clear, concise system installation and configuration instructions. Good communication skills with the ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with software developers, system administrators, and analysis and test engineers. This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration. The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $109,200 - $192,510. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
