Water/Wastewater Project Engineer Location: Amarillo, Texas Garver is seeking a
Water/Wastewater Project Engineer
in our Lubbock or Amarillo office to join our established Texas Water team. The Project Engineer will work under the guidance of a Project Manager within a team of multi-discipline design engineers and CAD technicians, focusing on producing reports, studies, technical memoranda, plans, details, and specifications. The ideal candidate must be capable of working closely with clients to ensure their expectations of service are exceeded. This position involves designing a variety of projects, including: Water conveyance and distribution systems, including pump stations and storage facilities Wastewater conveyance and collection systems, including pumping/lift stations and force mains Water and wastewater treatment plants Improvements and retrofitting of existing facilities Water, wastewater, and reuse master planning Garvers Water Team is known for being innovative and progressive while maintaining a tradition of quality design. Bachelor's degree in civil, biological, chemical, mechanical, or environmental engineering from an ABET-accredited program At least 2 years of experience related to municipal water/wastewater systems design Registered as an Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or able to obtain certification within 6 months Preferred Skills:
Master's degree in related engineering fields from an ABET-accredited program Experience with Microstation, GIS, WaterCAD, or SewerCAD Strong communication skills Ability to work independently with analytical and problem-solving skills Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Outlook Grow With Us
