The Role:
Experienced Quality Engineer able to operate independently; responsible for moderate to advanced complex projects; implement quality improvements.
This role is based onsite in Plymouth, Minnesota.
Responsibilities:
• Create inspection and testing solutions based on product or process specifications and requirements.
• Create new product inspection and test development plans and templates.
• Determine and implement quality improvement opportunities.
• Prepare protocols and reports related to engineering changes.
• Monitor nonconformances and implement corrections and corrective actions.
• Review and approve engineering change orders ensuring effective risk management application.
• Effectively present and explain quality engineering concepts both orally and in writing.
• Mentor and train engineers and quality engineers.
• Commit to deliverables with customers and/or mgmt.
Qualifications:
• A bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field with at least 5 years experience or equivalent work experience that provides exposure to fundamental theories, principles, and concepts regarding Quality.
• Previous experience as a Quality Engineer in a related industry.
• Proficiency in integrated business management and CRM software.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Previous experience with ISO 13485/ medical device manufacturing
The estimated salary range for this position is $90K to $100K.
Starting pay is dependent on multiple factors, such as skills, experience and work location, and is not typically at the top of the range.
