NTT DATA North America . We are seeking a Desktop Support Technician to join our team in Atlanta, Georgia (US-GA), United States (US). The Field Technician provides onsite technical support for end users at the client site, handling IT support and customer service to ensure a satisfactory support experience. The technician will own issues through resolution in a manufacturing plant environment. Responsibilities Provide onsite technical support for end users, handling tickets for issues at the client site. Troubleshoot, replace parts, perform system upgrades, deploy, and repair desktops, notebooks, and printers. Update and resolve tickets in a timely manner to achieve service levels. Identify potential issues that could adversely impact end user experience and take corrective action. Respond to calls after normal business hours per leadership instructions (as needed). Possess well-rounded knowledge of policies and procedures for the work area and provide escalation when appropriate.

Basic Requirements

5+ years of Windows desktop support experience

Preferred Skills

High School Diploma or equivalent; undergraduate degree or some college coursework preferred. Strong knowledge of Windows operating system environment. Solid client service skills. A+ desktop or equivalent skill set; additional certifications for various hardware platforms may be required. Ability to physically perform general office requirements. Must be able to perform essential responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodations. Travel including overnight domestic or international trips may be required.
