Position Summary
As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will play a key role on our Continuous Improvement team. You will collaborate cross-functionally to optimize production processes, enhance product manufacturability, and drive efficiency through data-driven solutions. This role directly impacts the successful launch of new products, improvements to existing processes, Production line layouts, and the overall performance of our manufacturing operations. Key Job Responsibilities
Evaluate and improve process flow, equipment layout, and space utilization to maximize efficiency. Apply data-driven and analytical methods to improve quality, reduce costs, and shorten lead times. Design and implement tooling, jigs, and fixtures to support production operations. Collaborate on capital equipment justifications and support implementation. Monitor daily production activities to identify and execute continuous improvement initiatives. Support large-scale production projects, ensuring layout, equipment, and material availability meet customer demand. Conduct current-state manufacturing assessments and propose future-state solutions with measurable benefits. Work cross-functionally with purchasing and warehousing to improve inventory management systems. Develop and maintain accurate plant layouts using AutoCAD. Partner with Design Engineering to transition new products into manufacturing, ensuring requirements are met. Develop and deliver training for production teams on new equipment and processes. Create work instructions to improve quality and training. Author and maintain clear work instructions to support quality and training. Lead cost-reduction initiatives across manufacturing operations. Communicate effectively with employees, customers, and external partners, demonstrating sound judgment and professionalism. Ensure compliance with company policies, health, and safety standards. Qualifications
Required
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and Bills of Material (BOMs). Experience using AutoCAD or equivalent drafting software. Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and 5S principles. Preferred
Experience in sheet metal manufacturing. Experience in HVACR Industry Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering, or related technical field preferred. Equivalent hands-on manufacturing experience will be considered. 2+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, process improvement, or related engineering role. Proven ability to apply engineering principles to optimize production efficiency, quality, and safety.
