Key Responsibilities Lead Installation Projects
Take ownership of residential HVAC system installations (central AC, furnaces, heat pumps, ductless mini-splits), ensuring work meets quality, safety, and code standards Mentorship & Team Leadership
Supervise and guide HVAC installers and apprentices, ensuring productivity and skill development System Startup & Testing
Perform and oversee startup and commissioning of HVAC systems to ensure proper function and customer satisfaction Customer Interaction
Act as the primary on-site contact for homeowners; communicate timelines, answer questions, and provide education on system operation Low Voltage Wiring & Troubleshooting
Lead the setup, connection, and testing of low voltage controls and thermostats Job Documentation & Reporting
Complete and verify all job-related paperwork, including installation records and material usage Worksite Management
Ensure job sites are clean, organized, and safe from start to finish Safety & Compliance
Enforce compliance with OSHA, EPA, and local code regulations Logistics & Equipment Handling
Coordinate and participate in loading, unloading, and transporting equipment to job sites Qualifications Experience
Minimum 5 years of residential HVAC installation experience, with 2+ years in a lead or supervisory role Technical Expertise
Deep knowledge of HVAC systems, low voltage wiring, and airflow principles EPA Certification
Type II or Universal certification required Leadership Skills
Proven ability to lead a crew and complete jobs efficiently and professionally Physical Requirements
Ability to lift up to 80 lbs and work in confined spaces like attics and crawl spaces Communication
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills Driver's License
